Hi, I’m Megan.

I’m passionate about a few things: growth, healing, and relational health. I’m also very aware that when we are feeling lost and disconnected, those things can feel like a challenge to access within ourselves and our relationships. This was part of the reason I decided to become a therapist. I’ve been there, and I know how important it is to have someone supportive and nurturing to walk alongside you as you strive to find yourself and grow in relational health. I would love to be the person that walks with you as you navigate these paths towards growth, healing and healthier relationships.

Finding the right fit with a therapist can feel overwhelming, but my hope is that as you get to know me, this process can feel more simple. I am a therapist who finds joy in working with teenagers, young adults, those who have experienced trauma, and people who are struggling to find their identity as they navigate through the world. I also love working with couples who are struggling to feel connected with one another.

My Approach

I strive to build a strong relationship as the basis for our therapeutic work together. This is a relationship cultivated by trust, empathy, support, and belief in the your ability to experience growth and healing through the therapeutic process.

I take a narrative approach with in therapy, looking at the patterns of belief you have developed throughout your life, where they came from, and how they are impacting you today. Together, we can work to develop healthier patterns and deeper connections with those around you. I am trauma-informed and attachment focused in my therapeutic approach. Depending on the needs of the client, I utilize an integrative approach that draws from Somatic and Emotion Focused Therapies, as well as Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Mindfulness models. I also love to use creative outlets in therapy with clients who are interested!

If you are still reading this and it is feeling like a good match for your therapeutic needs, I would love to talk further with you.
